Sharjah Woman Dead After Killing Infant, Dowry Case Filed Against Husband in Kerala

A tragic incident has unfolded in Sharjah, UAE, where a 21‑year‑old Indian woman from Kerala was found dead after allegedly taking the life of her one‑and‑a‑half‑year‑old daughter.
The couple had been living separately following ongoing marital conflicts, and the woman took her own life on July 8, reportedly by hanging, after suffocating her child to death.
Legal Action in India
An FIR has been filed at the Kundara Police Station in Kerala naming the husband, Nidheesh Valiyaveettil, and his family on charges of dowry harassment under sections related to cruelty and abetment to suicide.
