India has officially rolled out e-visa services for Kuwaiti citizens, offering a more convenient and faster way to visit the country. The new system includes a 5-year multiple-entry tourist visa, making it easier than ever for Kuwaiti travelers to explore India.

The initiative was announced by the Indian Embassy in Kuwait, as part of India’s broader efforts to strengthen bilateral ties and boost tourism.

Kuwaiti nationals can now apply for four categories of e-visas:

• e-Tourist Visa (including 1-year and 5-year options)

• e-Business Visa

• e-Medical Visa

• e-Medical Attendant Visa

Applicants can submit their visa requests through the official Indian government e-visa portal. The entire process is fully online, including application, fee payment, and receiving the visa via email. No in-person visits to the embassy or consulate are required.

The launch of the e-visa program is expected to encourage greater travel for tourism, medical purposes, business meetings, and family visits.

Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Adarsh Swaika, welcomed the development, saying it reflects India’s commitment to enhancing people-to-people ties and simplifying travel for genuine visitors.
