Cultural journalist and broadcaster Chaitali Banerjee Roy, who was honored as "NRI of the Month" by GulfNRIs.com, has released her new book Sadaaqa: Partnership & Cultural Kinship (Har-Anand Publications).

The book captures the essence of Indo-Kuwaiti friendship, tracing family histories, trade legacies, and cultural connections. Drawing inspiration from her audiovisual series Sadaaqa, Roy narrates the stories of Indian entrepreneurs such as the Jashanmals, Oberois, and Lambas, along with prominent Kuwaitis like Dr. Lubna Al Qadi and members of Al Sabah families.

With a foreword by heritage custodian Sheikha Altaf Al Sabah, the book highlights shared traditions across music, cuisine, and architecture. It stands out for preserving oral histories and bringing the human side of bilateral relations to light.
