The Karnataka Rajatha Cup (KRC) 2025 concluded with great enthusiasm, marking a vibrant celebration of cricket, culture, and community spirit in Qatar. Organized by Karnataka Sangha Qatar (KSQ) in collaboration with Karnataka Royals Qatar (KRQ), the four-day tournament was held from October 14–17, 2025 at the Qatar Foundation Cricket Grounds.

Opening Ceremony:
The tournament was inaugurated by Mr. E.P. Abdurahiman, President of the Indian Sports Centre, as Chief Guest, and Hariprashanth M.G., cine artist of Kantara fame, as Guest of Honour. KSQ President Ravi Shetty welcomed the gathering and expressed gratitude to the sponsors, volunteers, and organizing teams for their dedication.

League Matches and Highlights:
Exciting matches marked each day of the tournament, with teams such as BT Gang, Alliance Qatar, Invincible CC, and Hanan CC showcasing exceptional performances. The popular exhibition match between Best of India and Best of Karnataka added a festive spirit to the event.

Grand Finale and Cultural Evening:
In the grand finale, Royal Qatar emerged as champions after defeating Hanan CC in a thrilling encounter. Anand Kumar of Royal Qatar won Man of the Match (Final), Man of the Series, and Best Bowler, while Imran Koteshwara (Hanan CC) bagged Best Batsman. The closing ceremony, attended by Mr. Sandeep Kumar, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy, former Indian cricketer Vijay Bharadwaj, and Sandalwood director A. Harsha, featured a vibrant cultural performance choreographed by KT Soumya, with support from Bhuvana Suraj and Bhavana Naveen.

Kreeda Rathna Awards 2025:
As part of KSQ’s Silver Jubilee Celebrations, 25 individuals were recognized for their contributions to sports.
