Sunday, July 27, 2025 Riyadh
In a significant initiative for the Indian Muslim community in Saudi Arabia, an English-medium Madrasa class has been launched at Yara International School, Riyadh. The inauguration ceremony was recently held under the patronage of community leaders and educational advocates.
This pioneering program aims to blend modern education with Islamic values, offering young students a comprehensive curriculum that covers religious studies in English, making it more accessible to children raised in multicultural and non-Arabic-speaking environments.
The initiative was welcomed by parents and teachers alike, who appreciated the integration of faith-based learning within a familiar linguistic framework. The classes are being held under the supervision of qualified religious instructors and aim to instill Islamic morals, Quranic knowledge, and spiritual growth while accommodating the educational norms of the diaspora.
Several dignitaries and community elders attended the launch event and emphasized the importance of nurturing a new generation grounded in faith while being equipped to navigate the modern world. The program is expected to expand based on demand and community feedback.
